Ph8 is currently working on new songs. After a short break for the holiday season they are now back to work on a new CD. This past year was full of ups and downs. They had some big meetings and big shows. The Tucson fans are just the greatest and always come out in huge numbers to support all our shows. THANK YOU!!!!
Nando is getting his studio back up and running for us to record in again. We had thought about hiring a producer and even going somewhere else to record but we really like what we are able to do and as long as people keep buying our CDs we will keep making them TUCSON STYLE - whatever that is?
Pyle is still out on the town and as I have reported before if you run into him then you are where you need to - and buy that man a drink!
Marcus is still a home body for the most part but I think he is mastering the Wii as of late.
Michael is busy working on making a family and making wine. We will check back with him in a few months and see if he is going to be giving out any of his wine at the shows.
Our faithful manager is going to take advantage of this down time to work on a low budget movie that I really do not know what its about other than it is a horror movie - Look out Hollywood!
We do have a new video idea that we are hoping all our fans will get involved with. Please check out the commercial

Well the year is more than half done! Where did the time go and what is happening with Ph8? As you know Ph8 has been promoting their CD Fortune Favors the Bold. We have been selling a lot of these CD's as well as the merchandise. For this we thank you all because that is how we are able to take our musical circus on the road.
We have been mainly focusing on performing in California , specifically the Los Angeles area. Our phan base is growing each time we go out there. Yeah!
What else is Ph8 doing?
Well, we are working on another CD. This project we hope to have a
producer come in and work with us. We have always been excited about
the idea of having an objective opinion in the studio. Someone who will
push us in our writing skills, bowstaff skills, computer hacking skills
and all the while keeping that Ph8 sound we create in the studio. We
have a few guys lined up and we will see where that goes. So far the
songs sound great and it will be something totally different but still

What are the guys doing?
Nando
has been checking his email on his Trio every second he gets. He has
also been recording some bands from Tucson . Look for the new Provocative Whites and the new Red Bear Soldier CD's hitting the store in the next few months.
Pyle is always where you want to be. So, if you run into him then that's exactly where you want to be. So, buy that boy a drink!!
Michael is working very had on consuming as much wine as he can while telling us that he is learning about wine. Yeah, I see six letters in his future DUI and AAA. Oh, he is also going to be sitting in with a local Tucson band The TenPercenters on September 1 st at Plush Tucson.
Marcus is mastering Guitar Hero on his play-station and patently waits for the new Spider Man movie to come out. Other than that you will find him at home on his ranch cooking sumptin up.
What's next for Ph8?

First , Friday August 18 th . This is our first time playing Club Congress! It's hard to believe that we have never been on the Congress stage. Anyway, we are playing with locals Red Bear Soldier and a band from LA Ounce of Self . This is a KFMA and Budweiser early show ( starts at 6pm & ph8 goes on at 8pm & done by 9pm ). Another cool thing about this show is that it's FREE!!!! If you have your KFMA Card!!!! For more information please see our flyers.
Second, Saturday September 2 nd in Tempe at the Stray Cats Bar. Keep checking our site for more information on this as well.
This is actually a lot more coming up but I will focus on those two right now and feed you a little at a time.

NEW! - Pictures from the CD Release Party
Hello,
I just wanted to take a second and say thank you to all our Phans. You
guys have been so supportive though out the years. 2006 has been very
good so far with the “Fortune Favors the Bold” CD release and all the
people that showed up for that….that was huge! I can’t remember an
unsigned local band pulling that many people to a CD release party.
TUCSON KICKS ASS!
We just finished our last show in May and we have decided to take
the month of June just to work on new material. LAZY you may say…Well,
we have a few ideas that we have been waiting to work on and right now
just seems like a good time to focus our energy on something new.
Marcus and the rest of us have had some big events in our lives lately
and it seems like a good opportunity to draw from these experiences and
tear, cut, push, pull, beat to a pulp, and then nurture them back to
life and put it all down in music. Then record it. Who knows what it
will sound like in the end but we promise to let you hear it.
As we keep pushing forward in hopes of getting our music out
“WORLDWIDE” – (incase you were at club crawl) – We like to stop and
realize that even though we are not signed making a living playing
music we do know that that we are extremely lucky and fortunate to have
the support that we do. We create music and this gives us enjoyment but
without your ears and energy our music would seize to exist.
I suggest ….no….I demand a toast to our Phans!!!!!!!!

We had a great time - worked our asses off - and made tons of new friends. We can't wait to get back!
